Summary: 2001-01-08 00:00:00 I respect music that can accurately portray the feelings it writes about. I listened to this CD every day for a year when I was depressed and it made me feel better to know I wasn't alone in my feelings.

Summary: 2005-07-06 08:45:00 Not a bad album, but not that good either. Had Cobain not killed himself, Nirvana wouldn't have lasted much longer into the 90's I suspect. I say that because low album sales mean no label to release your music these days. Look at what happened to the other big bands of the day. Alice In Chains for example. Kurt's suicide pumped up the sagging sales of this album and, of course, put them into the legends category. The greatest way to market yourself is to die. Just ask Elvis.

Summary: 2003-02-12 00:00:00 The most important album ever made for modern music and greatest ever made!!! What more can be said about this it may be angry it may be abrasive in places but it is simply a classic. In 50 years time just think people will look back on this record as the greatest of the 90's, even over pearl jam and U2!!!!

Summary: 2002-08-28 00:00:00 This is the best album Nirvana ever did...it's kind of sad, though, because there are little red warning flags scattered all over it and nobody noticed them at all. "All Apologies", "Heart-Shaped Box", "Francis Farmer" (which is about Courtney Love), "Radio Friendly Unit Shifter", and "Serve the servants" are all great songs. This was the first/last Nirvana album where Cobain really showed off his voice...let us know he actually had one. And like I said, there were little hints of his depression all over the album, and the entire world was too blind to notice them...it would be even nicer if we could say that this was the album that saved Kurt Cobain's life. Take care, everyone!

Summary: 2001-01-08 00:00:00 Within this tormented, sad, but ultimately brilliant album are lyrics that, when looked at in hindsight, can be seen to be a cry for help from a man who, soon after the albums release, took his life. This gives these songs a gravity that is rarely seen in any music. Check out, "I Think I'm Dumb" and "All Apologies" for some of the telling lyrics.
