Summary: 2006-05-01 09:39:00 It was an 80's album, and as far as the Police's discography goes, it represents their commercial zenith, their swan song and in my opinion their least durable album. The first 2 Police albums are still great listens today. This one and Ghosts in the Machine are pretty dated, save for their monster hits.

Summary: 2005-05-18 04:42:00 The last Police album had some great songs like Synchronicity I, II, Tea In Sahara, and Miss Gradenko along with commercial fluff like King Of Pain and Every Breath You Take which gave those around at the time a hint of what Sting was going to become; a total pop sellout.

Summary: 2005-04-18 05:20:00 IMO this ranks alongside 'Zenyatta..' as the worst Police album, with over-glossy production for the US mass market. Gone are the raw new wave and reggae influences that made the first 2 albums so good. A sell out if ever there was.

Summary: 2004-06-28 11:14:00 Great album from the greates three member band ever. Important to remember when the Police were seemingly make all this great music, Sting and And could barely stand each other yet they still managed to set the standard. Much of there stuff is wrongly mixed in with a lot of the crap that popped up in the 80's but time has proven this bands true talent.

Summary: 2002-10-24 05:23:00 Other than the singles released off the album, I don't really think this album is that great at all. The singles were good enough to warrant buying the album, but song for song, not a real classic.

Summary: 2001-10-19 08:20:00 It is a look into some of the best of the Police. It was huge when it was released in 1983. "Every Breath you Take" has taken on so many meanings.

Summary: 2001-01-22 06:09:00 This is a great album. It has Synchronicity on it twice in two different styles which is great, and it displays some of the Police's old "punkish" style which usually gets drowned out in the modern day memory by who the Police were. My favorite album is "Reggata de Blanc" but this one is also excellent.
