Summary: 2005-10-14 11:01:00 RHCP is one of the most overrated bands of the 90's. I do enjoy the song Blood Sugar Sex Magik, but the album is not as great as people make it out to be. Under the Bridge is weak...very weak. This song served to bring in millions of new fans and ultimately helped turn the Peppers into a ballads band.

Summary: 2005-08-01 03:41:00 This is their best album (next to Californacation!). Red hot chili peppers are my favourite band. This album is so dynamic and each song is different. The lyrics are beautiful (as they always are) and the songs are great. You can never stop listning to songs like 'Under the bridge', 'Suck my kiss' and 'Breaking the girl'.

Summary: 2002-10-17 00:00:00 This album basically warped them into the mainstream, as it should by this wonderfully-produced album by Rick Rubin (who produced Beasties, Run DMC, and Tom Petty albums). Great stand out songs like "Breaking The Girl", "Under The Bridge" and "Suck My Kiss". They cleverly combine punk and funk with this record.

Summary: 2001-06-10 00:00:00 My lovely Man is such a wonderful tribute to their original guitarist, Hillel Slovak, that you almost feel that he never died. Too many great moments to mention (Mellowship Slinky in Bmajor has to be one of the greatest titles not to mention funk songs to come around.) Great holdover until the mighty CALIFORNICATION!!!!!

Summary: 2001-03-22 00:00:00 I think "Blood Sugar Sex Magic" was catchy but ultimately didn’t pass the test of time. The song "Under the Bridge," for instance, now makes me break out in hives if I’m forced to endure it. I guess they still play “Suck My Kiss” on the radio once in a while, and it doesn’t make me change the channel, but other than that this CD has kind of faded from my memory.
