Summary: 2008-07-24 02:41:00 Ground zero for Punk Rock, there were anticedents and influences on the type of music on the only Pistols album but this is the definative document of the classic period. Listen to it today and it doesn't sound as raw and awful as it did in 1977 (1976?) but it was the template for the form and you still hear it echo in the so-called punk of today.

Summary: 2006-10-01 08:23:00 People might discredit the Pistols becuase of their short life-span. But this is album that defined punk. I mean, when anyone thinks about 'punk', the Sex Pistols is just inseperable. Particularly, Sid Viscous and Johnny Rotten - it just goes hand-in-hand.

Summary: 2005-07-23 09:08:00 This album is a dreadful pleasure. If you are a fan of rock'n'roll history, you should at least listen to this album. It is a major influence on punk and alterna-rock. . .It was a great college drinking album although I must admit it doesn't leave my shelf and find itself into my player the older I get. . .

Summary: 2004-06-28 11:27:00 SO IMPORTANT!!! The album was poorly recorded, the songs all sucked, even the hit "God Save the Queen" apparently was only added as an afterthought. But isn't that what punks all about? Although in and of itself, this album is a piece of s**t, it was a key that opened many, many important doors.

Summary: 2003-08-05 06:55:00 ok part of the punk thing was being able to play and all that with out having to get signed by a record lable and have your music controlled by them. And that any one could have a band. Anyone could play and any one could do anything no matter how bad you sucked. And there would be no one to decide if you sucked or not. Yeah thats not explained how i wanted to explain it but you get my point i hope. Oh and i do think that the sex pistols had talent.

Summary: 2002-01-01 03:45:00 It does not deserve the accolades it receives. Nevermind the Bollocks is just a CD with mediocre quality filled with teenage angst and defiance. I put it a little above a Limp Bizkit album because of its mood. "Anarchy in the U.K." is still not a great song, so it gets a 2 from me.

Summary: 2001-08-12 10:12:00 The Pistols are the fathers of Punk. Bollock's was an awesome album, despite the fact Johnny Rotten couldn't sing and Sid's previous bass experience was playing to a Ramones album for 3 hours they pulled off an amazing feat. The Pistols may not have invented Punk perse, but they defineatly brought it to where it is today.Too bad they were more into chaos than rock n roll though.

Summary: 2001-05-22 08:06:00 The Sex Pistols were the greatest punk band ever.!!! They mostly sang about things that meant something. If you are a fanatic punk rocker you should have this in your collection as with all the other Sex Pistols albums. Sid Vicious, Johnny Rotten, Glen Matlock and Paul Cook made a great punk group probably the best then, now and in years to come. Although Never mind the Bollocks wasn't the best album it is one that you need for your punk rock collection.
