Summary: 2008-02-12 12:21:00 This album is classic. There is no other word for it. The Who are in prime form. Roger Daltrey is incredible on songs like "Baba O'Riley", "Won't Get Fooled Again", and "Bargain". Pete Townshend is hands down one of the best songwriters of the century.

Summary: 2007-04-30 09:12:00 I can't believe that this album is so far down the list, this album is probably the third best album of the decade, just behind Kiss: Alive! and Van Halen: Van Halen.

Summary: 2006-04-28 03:54:00 Pete Townsend took the band to a new level of power that was only hinted at on Tommy. I still prefer Sell Out and My Generation for their raw energy but this would be their best album of the 70's.

Summary: 2005-08-03 10:33:00 I started burning a "best of The Who" CD compilation for myself and realized that you really need to include 5 or more songs from "Who's Next". The 5 songs that belong on The Who's top 20 are "Baba O'Reilly", "Bargain", "Goin' Mobile", "Behind Blue Eyes", "We Don't Get Fooled Again". And I'm sure there are other Who fans who would pick the other songs from the album: "This Song is Over", "Getting in Tune", "My Wife" and "Love aint for Keeping". This is one of those must albums for everyone's collection. Plus if you buy the re-issued CD, it has some extra songs that were part of Townshend'd Lifehouse project that didn't quite make it to "Who's Next", which is unbelievable because they are great songs like: "I Don't Even Know Myself" and "Pure and Easy"
