Summary: 2004-04-22 00:00:00 Really nothing but an album all about man hating. Alanis was pissed at someone of the male gender and proved it to the extreme with this album. If it wasn't so filled with man hating, I might actually have liked it. But I think men are pretty awesome and could never imagine hating them to such an extreme. Men rock !

Summary: 2008-04-12 11:40:00 I played this album all the time when I was a teen. It helped me vent a lot of anger....no, not about zits and homework. Haha. Alanis is a great songwriter and I'm glad her career is still going strong.

I still might, but I think when she released the new, nicer album, I used this one as a candle holder in protest and oddly enough would not play properly after that. Nevertheless, I did enjoy this album a lot. Alanis is great chick rock (and I don't use "great" and "chick rock" in the same sentence too often) and she's just so angry! It's great! Then she got all happy and unfortunatly a woman like Alanis singing happy songs just doesn't have the same effect.

Summary: 2004-04-22 00:00:00 Very angsty and true to the lyrics. Expression of all sorts of emotions and Alanis depicts talent in it's face. I loved this c.d. and blasting it is great. The song "Forgiven" really hit home.

Summary: 2003-01-15 00:00:00 Before late 1996, this album was played constantly in my CD player (before MTV and every radio station in America wore out virtually every track). The album was pure magic. Not too many people can pull of a gem when it's virtually a journal about her life.

I never bought the album again, which is fine since I found it again anyway, but I love Alanis's lyrics: everything from man-hating to the harsh realities of trying to be perfect to the confessions of true love. I can identify with her tunes, and that is great too,
