Summary: 2005-09-10 11:37:00 There is a sense of artistic self-importance and attitude among the great bands of the 90's, but S.P. really made an underrated double-album with this effort. Great college album with drug songs, mellowing-out-songs, make-out songs, pissed-off songs. . .really captures the feel and mood if you were a twentysomething moody jerk in the nineties. . .oh, that's right. . .that's me. . .

Summary: 2005-08-01 03:28:00 There are amazingly versitile songs on this album. Not one song is the same as any of the others. The best are '1979' and 'Tonight, tonight'

Summary: 2002-04-09 00:00:00 One of the greatest rock bands of the 90's and this record shows why in every way. The album is so consistent. It's a damn shame that the following albums didn't have the success of this classic.

Summary: 2001-05-26 00:00:00 I definately think this is the best album ever made. When I first got this album I had no idea it would have the impact it did on me. It's spanning varitey of styles has opened up my mind to other types of music besides your typical rock. Tonight, Tonight I think is the best song on this album simply because of the brilliant use of symphony layered with regular guitar and drums. Some of the other songs that are really great include the hits like 1979, Zero, and Bullet, but there are tones of not-so-well known songs such as Thru The Eyes Of Ruby and Bodies. Like said before, there are a couple of not so great songs on this album but with 28 songs, it's to be expected. I can't understand why more people don't appreciate the talent of this band. There should be way more opinions on this page to support such a masterpiecs.

Summary: 2001-02-01 00:00:00 This is my favourite album of all time. It is a double album and both CDs are full of great songs. I've found that even though there are two CDs full of songs, each song is still different from every other song which is one reason why I love this album so much. Certainly there are some songs which are better than others, that is true with everything. Some of the best tracks on this album are "Tonight Tonight", "Zero", "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" and "1979". But that is definitely not the full list of good songs on this album. Certainly there are 2 or 3 songs on the album I don't like so much, but that's not unusual for me. If there's one CD I'd definitely recommend that you go out and buy though, it is definitely this one.
