Summary: 2002-06-06 00:00:00 My favorites are "Sin Wagon", "Ready to Run", and "Let Him Fly". I love the fiddle on "Sin Wagon" and "Cowboy Take Me Away". And "Goodbye Earl" is just funny but the part where Earl puts Wanda in intensive care still makes me cry. I listen to this album in my car and rather than air guitar, I do air fiddle. I am sure passersby think I have a strange nervous twitch in my arm.

Summary: 2001-01-08 00:00:00 The Goodbye Earl song is funny and it reminded me of the movie Fried Green Tomatoes. This CD also has a lot of variation and the Dixie Chicks Fly album is just as good as Wide Open Spaces.

Summary: 2000-12-04 00:00:00 I didn't think anything these girls could come up with to follow their premier album could beat it, which in itself would have been quite remarkable for a debut group. 'Fly', however, shocked me. Both its feminist attitude and in your face tone should pick up a few non-traditional ears-particularly the country twang sap be moaners. Warning though-we may all wish to kill wife beaters like Earl, it isn't practically recommended.
