Summary: 2006-03-28 07:25:00 Worth noting if only for its historical value. These are simple pop tunes, done to perfection by a real band of young musicians. The voices were unique then and still are today. There is more here than initially greets the ears.

Summary: 2004-12-01 11:44:00 This review refers to the British version of "A Hard Days Night," which is currently available on cd worldwide. Other albums by The Beatles may have been more innovative, but for me, "A Hard Days Night" is the most fun to listen to. To the band, this was a soundtrack to the movie of the same name (my 2nd favorite movie ever, by the way), but if you look at the state of pop music in 1964, this album was a huge leap in quality. Everyone else had to play catch-up after this was released. In the scope of music history, this album is very underrated.

I have to make a comment about another user here--Jackie72. Comparing Milli Vanilli to the Beatles will get you stoned by real music fans. Get off this page. "Talk about songs with NO soul at all." I have no response to that. How can anyone? Go back to your Puff Daddy and Eminem CDs and leave the Beatles alone.

Summary: 2004-01-11 09:49:00 The 60s are over with deal with it. I cannot relate to music this old, it's corny and so outdated in today's world. It may have been cool for teenage teenie boppers back 40 years ago. Man has it been that long. The whole bowl haircut and clean cut goodie goodie image is so yesterday. These guys got at least a little creative in their later years, I guess if you are taking LSD and other heavy drugs you're going to be creative even if it involves bad singing and 3 chords on a guitar. I never got it off with that revolution stuff.
