Summary: 2003-08-28 00:00:00 "Abbey Road" was the Beatles at their best. The release flows nicely, and if one only owns one release by the Beatles, this is the one.

Summary: 2005-07-13 05:16:00 This is my favorite album. I actually didn't really care for it all that much the first time I listened to it, but after a few listens I changed my mind, and after many it slowly beat out the White Album as my top. The medley is amazing and I love that they come back to "You Never Give Me Your Money" at the very end to tie it all up. Octopus is not my favorite song, but then, there is a song or two on pretty much all the albums I don't particularily care for. Her Majesty has always driven me crazy. I never let the album play through that song because after you come through The End, it's just so out of place and disrupts everything else. Anyways, still my favorite album of the best band of all time.

Summary: 2008-06-23 12:02:00 Perhaps the best album the Beatles came up with. A wide range of styles and rithms. I take it as their masterpiece.

Summary: 2007-02-13 02:58:00 Once again the Beatles prove why they were the best. Even amid heated arguments and inner turmoil, they were able to produce a classic album that will stand the test of time. Released prior to 'Let It Be' , this their last album together comes off with style, with each member contributing equally. The beatles were the best as a band, a unique combination of talents that was not seen in their individuality.

Summary: 2007-01-04 11:00:00 A true masterpiece! It's hard to believe this recording was made during a time of internal turmoil. It shows the tremendous talent these men have in writing songs and their musicianship.

Summary: 2006-03-28 06:57:00 The final nail in the coffin of the 2:35 pop tune. Sad to say that monster rose from the dead when radio became worthless. Every cut on Abbey Road was brilliant. While the studio may have been a band in chaos, the album's production is flawless and the songs are like no others.

Summary: 2005-11-12 02:54:00 If they had to finally leave us, this was certainly a great way to bow out. Their voices and intruments were never better as these four who represented (and still do!) the Mount Olympus of Rock and Roll left us with a chasm that has yet to be filled. The final entry in ten and a half hours of brilliant music and billions of memories for billions of lifetimes. Each day brings new legions of Beatles fans, but there will never be another entity remotely like the Beatles. The whirling dervish of song fragments on the second side of this record that ends with Paul's uplifting message remains the equal of any words uttered by any of the world's greatest of philosophers. "...And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love ...you make." A truly remarkable album that stands the test of time.

Summary: 2005-11-04 11:36:00 They went out on a high note. There is something of everything from their career on the album but all done with subtle grace. It serves their legacy well.
