Album Description
While Faith No More is known first and foremost as a hard-rock outfit, the band did indeed have a softer side. In concert, the quintet would often surprise its audience with unpredictable cover songs--the most successful being a faithful reading of the Commodores' schmaltzy '70s ballad "Easy." Recorded during the sessions for the band's classic ANGEL DUST album, "Easy" eventually surfaced on 1993's four-song EP SONGS TO MAKE LOVE TO.

Mike Patton shows why many consider him to be one of rock's most versatile vocalists, by pouring his heart into "Easy" (with a slight touch of humor as well). Rounding out the mini-album is the band's cover of the melancholy theme from the movie MIDNIGHT COWBOY, as well as the humorous "Das Schutzenfest" (sung entirely in German), and a '50s rockabilly version of the Dead Kennedys classic "Let's Lynch The Landlord."
