MSTRKRFT: Jesse F. Keeler, Al-P.

Formed by one half of the Toronto electro-punk duo Death from Above 1979, MSTRKRFT (pronounced "mastercraft") lean much more toward the dancefloor and much further away from CBGB's than the aforementioned band on their 2006 album, THE LOOKS. Filled with dirty electro-crusted disco beats, expansive synth lines, and cheeky vocal hooks and samples, MSTRKRFT have clearly done their homework. While THE LOOKS might not have longevity written all over it, it certainly won't kill any parties either.
