The hushed, finely produced electronic nature of Thom Yorke's solo debut, THE ERASER, lent itself well to remixes and re-interpretations, as the flurry of 12-inch remixes that followed the album's release suggested. Some of the finest electronica artists in the game treated tracks from THE ERASER, including Burial, Cristian Vogel, Four Tet, Modeselektor, and the Field, creating a nice prismatic lens through which to listen to Yorke's effort anew. THE ERASER RMXS brings nine of these productions together under one cover, making for a dense sonic ride that also provides a fine cross section of some of the finest producers and IDM artists on the scene.
