While not a children's album per se, Ziggy Marley's third album FAMILY TIME takes child rearing, family togetherness, and the experiences of childhood as its main themes. Instrumentally it more or less reprises the gentle, impeccably-played roots reggae of Ziggy's first two full-lengths, while an impressive roster of illustrious guests share vocal duties. Unsurprisingly, given the album's subject matter, the extended Marley family makes a strong showing. Ziggy's mother Rita, his sister Cedella, and his daughter Judah share vocal duties with some more unexpected guests including Willie Nelson and Paul Simon.
