| Freezepop: Liz Enthusiasm (recorder); Sean, The Duke (programming). It's telling that "Less Talk, More Rokk," the infectious lead track on Freezepop's 2007 album FUTURE FUTURE FUTURE PROJECT, was featured prominently on Guitar Hero 2. This is synthpop for the 128-bit era: detached, self-consciously disposable, and catchy as all get out. Best not to ponder the meaning of titles such as "Ninja of Love" and "Do You Like My Wang?"; the idea is to dance, and the bleeps and bloops here come at such a furious pace that resistance is futile. |
