Scottish quartet Aereogramme's fourth recording--and second for Sonic Unyon--MY HEART HAS A WISH THAT YOU WOULD NOT GO AWAY--finds the band reeling in some of their most bombastic tendencies for a more intimate feel. Whereas on SECLUSION and SLEEP AND RELEASE the band mined the tension between quieter passages and anthemic releases, this collection holds a somber tension throughout its 10 tracks, the exception being "Nightmares," which boasts some of the band's trademark dramatics.
