Although soft-rock poster boys Air Supply have been the subject of numerous compilations, Legacy's 2007 anthology LOST IN LOVE stands out due to the inclusion of both the group's runaway smash singles and often-overlooked late-1970s tracks. Of the latter, "Love and Other Bruises" establishes the smooth pop template that vocalist Russell Hitchcock and vocalist/guitarist Graham Russell would expand on with subsequent romantic, easy-listening hits such as "All Out of Love" and "Making Love Out of Nothing at All," both of which are also featured on this concise collection.

Whether your market is the U.S., the U.K., Europe, Australia, or Asia, there's one thing that's true -- chances are, there's already more than one Air Supply compilation that will fit all your needs. Even with that glut of Air Supply hits collections, Legacy's 2007 compilation The Best of Air Supply: Ones That You Love ranks among the very best. It serves up all the big hits ("Lost in Love," "All Out of Love," "Every Woman in the World," "Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You)," "Sweet Dreams," "Even the Nights Are Better," "Making Love Out of Nothing at All") along with a good selection of the minor hits and lesser-known singles, all packaged in a nicely produced set with remastered sound. If you already own an existing Air Supply disc, chances are you won't need to replace it -- basically, if you have a disc with the big hits you'll be satisfied -- but if you don't have one yet, this is the one to get. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
